This year's event is sure to be a big "hit" at the Central Park Boathouse. The Hayes Kavanagh Band will join us this year with their lively jazz ensemble and opening remarks. Terry D. Jackson, the Managing Director for the Division of International Business in the Mayor Bloomberg's office will provide us with opening remarks.

The day includes an enjoyable round of golf at this challenging course followed by a Dinner and Guest Speaker Kathleen Kennedy Townsend. American Celtic Ball 2008

Location : Waldorf - Astoria Hotel, Park Avenue, New York City

This annual awards gala takes place in early October at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York, NY. Typically this event attracts over 700 business and governmental leaders from the United State and Ireland. It's estimated that gross sales of the companies in attendance is between $200 - $250 billion. The awards categories are as follows and seek to honor individuals who have demonstrated a commitment through commerce and/or the arts to Ireland's success:
